Ok, so... Is it bad luck to eat a whole box of fortune cookies? Would the first or the last be my "real" fortune? and how do you know for sure? Since they were all extremely positive, would each new one cancel the one before out? Do I need to figure out whether I opened an even or odd number of fortune delivery devices? This really does bother me. This... and why the lady tried to steal SLIPPERS from the dollar store yesterday afternoon.

wtf... there is a Subaru commercial that confuses me. Where the dude is standing in a gorilla costume next to a chimp and a guy asks what he's doing and he says "getting ready for the big tent sale" and the dude says to him " it's not THAT kind of tent". WHAT IS HE TALKING ABOUT? what kind of tent has monkeys in it?! Am I just being dumb?

HEROES IS ALMOST OVER FOR THE SEASON!

So this season of Heroes is winding to a close. I think next week is the last episode actually. I really don't know why I dig this show so much, but I do! Speaking of television, what's the deal with Lost? The real deal. I know everyone whose ever watched it even once has asked that question. The fact that I don't "get" what's going on, drives me crazy, so I watch more. why?!! I really gave up trying to keep up after the first season. I wonder if watching the show on dvd back to back, every season to date... if I will start to understand. Y'know, instead of waiting a whole week and trying to piece things together.

Dream II

Ok, so last night (or possibly early this morning), I had a dream about a camping trip. That in itself is not so odd, but we went with Dog the Bounty Hunter (who was married to Heather Locklear), their three kids and another couple and their kids.

I don't remember where we went or what happened during the trip, but upon returning, we had a "last dinner" together at Dog and Heather's house. Because we were so late getting back into town, all of the kids went to bed shortly after dinner and the adults were cleaning the kitchen together. I was helping some woman I don't know in real life load the dishwasher.

When we were finished, the two of us went into the living room and had a cup of coffee. We could see into the kitchen from the couch. Suddenly, Dog was completely flipping out, cussing whomever had put the silverware in the dishwasher the 'WRONG' way. (me!).

His behavior made me so uncomfortable, I decided to wake my kids and go on home right then. He cut me off before I made it to the kids' room and tried to "hook up". Um, no thanks! I rambled off a list of why-nots before I walked around him and woke the kidlets.

Off we went! Home.

What a stupid dream! What in the world does THAT tell me?

Lame.

Eight Blunders of Albert Einstein.

Albert Einstein was as a great man and scientist, a genius, undeniably. However, we can find a few but crucial points where his extraordinary intuition wasn't enough to make him aware of some facts of reality as they really are, and later research proved to be different of the master's view.

These are the eight crucial mistakes of the master:

a) After being one of the founding-fathers of quantum physics, in 1905, even inventing basic terms as quantum and photon, he didn't accept its philosophical consequences, specially the probabilistic character of the world at quantum scales, and the non-existence of an objective reality apart from the observer;

b) To conceive, in 1930, with Podolsky and Rosen, a mind experiment (Gedanken-experiment) to "prove" the absurdity of non-locality which, years later in laboratories, proved precisely the opposite of his expectations;

c) Not to accept Friedmann's solutions for his equations of general relativity, that have shown a non-static universe which should be necessarily under a process of expansion or contraction. This finding sounded unacceptable, leading him to conceive a hypothetical force (lambda) which would balance the universe turning it into a static system. Today we know that the universe is expanding and lambda force doesn't exist;

d) To release, in 1950, a theory of the unified field which intended to unify the four basic interactions of physics, which concluded with four equations equal to zero that were not correct. In his calculations, Albert has done a division by zero without perceiving it. This is a mistake in mathematics because it leads to false results or absurdities.

e) To discover the possibility of "gravitational lenses" – a phenomenon already discovered by astronomers – however forecasting that science would never be capable of using them to observe distant objects, as they are today;

f) To have insisted in the irreversibility of time flow, even when quantum physics shown that it is reversible at quantum scales and Gödel demonstrated this reversibility in the cosmic level, in 1949, with his solution to the equations of general relativity;

g) To try to prove that black holes couldn't exist, in a paper published in the Annals of Mathematics, in 1939, although black holes are a logic result of his equations for general relativity;

h) To have admitted, for the developing of his general theory of relativity, the seminal notion of proper-time,(tau), originally introduced by Minkowsky some years before, without noticing that a revolution was contained in that proposition. Not even Minkowsky got aware that by connecting to each point – which means each particle – a proper time, he was accreting a new dimension to the time order, and its imaginary character would definitely bound time to the observing subject;

This last mistake impeded him to discover the three-dimensionality of time and the subjective or imaginary face of Wholeness, blocking the advancement of science beyond the material universe, usually recognized by ordinary science. This crucial door was open by Niels Bohr and quantum physics, surely the greatest conquest of last century’s science.[

Dream Interpretation?

Last night I had a dream. We lived in the country. One day on the old farm road that ran in front of the house, we saw a grumpy old farmer drive by in a very small, low to the ground pickup truck; beige in color. In the back of his truck he was transporting EIGHT adult horses!! Some were half in and half out of the truck; forcing some to run along side the small truck. It was one of the cruelest things I'd ever seen. My cousin, I associate with riding horses with as a child, suddenly appeared and started running after the truck, until she was able to get on one and ride it bareback until she finally freed all of the horses from the truck. They followed her back to the house and then she disappeared. We hid the horses in the acreage behind our house and denied any knowledge of the horses when the owner came looking for them.

Random.

No Time

I don't have much time to post. So I will just type some random thoughts for the week.

1. Bob and I are going to The Fat Chili for dinner (chili gordo)since the kids are gone for the nigt.

2. Saw a car that had a sign on side that read: "All American International security" on it. What the heck?! Does that name make sense?

3. Eggplants are a pain in the A. They are hard to cook w/o being bitter and they don't taste good.

4. Going to a day spa with sister next weekend. I hope nobody actually touches me.

5. I work too much. I'm working now. There is a "new dude" at work. I call him "new dude". Do you think he will break Joe's record?

6. Walk the Line is an OK movie, but it seemed like it was over before it started??

7. Bob's cat is dying and it's real sad and I don't have the words to make it any easier.

8. The dog is barking at nothing and it's creeping me out.

9. I'm tired, but I can't sleep.

10. Crazy people have tattoos of flames on their forearms.
